A pesky idea has been nudging me for a long time. Ever since I began living here 19 years ago, I’ve been aware of the spirits of the former tenants - the Indian folk who lived here for centuries. In some very special way I am their heir - and I want to commemorate them with a large sculpture that rests on this cove-by-the-bay.
